Workshops
If a workshop or private lesson attendee's pottery is lost, damaged or recklessly glazed we will compensate them in a way that we think is appropriate. Circumstances always differ a bit. Additionally, pottery is an imperfect process and sometimes defects arise that are out of our control. We may compensate attendees with a discount on a future workshop.
Classes and Memberships
Lost, broken, cracked and misfired pottery happens at a studio. Pottery by nature is fragile, and there are many times throughout a pot's life cycle when it is vulnerable to human error. Our staff is as careful as possible when handling pottery, but some loss is inevitable. We do not compensate students for these things. It's part the pottery making process and something that all studios deal with. We ask that students be understanding of these mishaps if and when they do happen.
